Tiny Blessings (Mother’s Day Out)
Welcome to Tiny Blessings Weekday Early Education Program. We are a ministry of North Shelby Baptist Church. Our desire is to provide a Christian learning environment where parents and children experience compassion, sensitivity, and love as you walk with us through your child’s precious foundation years. All children are special gifts from God with individual personalities, and it is our desire to help every child obtain his/her full learning potential. For this reason, Tiny Blessings is built around Mark 9:37. ‘´Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me…” The treasures of their smiles and learning make our teaching a rewarding experience. Together, with the support of our church family, Tiny Blessings strives to be a nurturing outreach ministry to our community. We capture and share many heart-warming memories to be cherished for years to come. Our prayer is to “Raise up all children in the ways of the Lord.”
Our program is designed for children ages six months through Pre K4. Our curriculum, Weekday Early Education Learning Preschool Curriculum (WEE Learn), is focused on biblical principles and preschool skills. We also supplement the supplied curriculum with many other preschool resources. Preschool children pray, learn about biblical principles and grow spiritually by attending chapel services. The needs of all the children are addressed through age appropriate learning experiences that promote growth spiritually, academically, and socially. Watching children have fun, develop self-esteem, and reach their learning potential in a Christ-centered environment is the goal of our program.
The three day per week program is available for infants, six months through children four-years-old. The Monday, Wednesday, Friday program includes classes from 9:30am – 1:30pm and run September through May. Tiny Blessings is closed for holidays and follows the Shelby County Board of Education calendar.
To register for classes, please contact the Director, Maranda Berryman . Our classes have limited space available. If space is unavailable, we urge you to sign your child up on the waiting list. No fee is required to place your child’s name on the waiting list. Many situations change throughout the year, and if space becomes available we will call in the order of the names on the waiting list. At that time, you may accept or decline the position.
