Welcome to North Shelby Baptist Church

Welcome to North Shelby Baptist Church. We are conveniently located on Highway 280, southeast of Birmingham, just east of the entrance to EBSCO, between Greystone and Chelsea in northern Shelby County, Alabama.

“Who is North Shelby Baptist Church?

Ø       14 years old and growing, a “mid-size” congregation, conservative in doctrine and in worship style, liberal in love and giving.

Ø       Committed to the Great Commission, to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus; former foreign missionary as Pastor, a missionary partnership with work on a Caribbean island; supporting and participating in the mission/ministries of the Southern Baptist Convention, the Alabama Baptist Convention, and the Shelby Baptist Association.

Ø       Committed to the Great Commandment, to love the Lord and one another; though conservative in style, worship is heart-felt, personal, passionate; practicing prayer; close-knit church family, all ages, easily accepting others, wanting to grow.

Ø       Meeting beside a major thoroughfare (US 280), near a major city (Birmingham), on the slope of Double Oak Mountain, an absolutely beautiful setting.

Would you fit in at North Shelby Baptist?

We believe you would—

But will you come and see?
